Quote of the Day: “Few things are more satisfying than seeing your own children have teenagers of their own.”
- Doug Larson

A catch up for you and a catch up for me.
Today marks the catch-up day. That means I am blogging in real time which, like a lunar eclipse eclipsing a solar eclipse, rarely occurs.
But today is the day.
What is a catch up blog without a little catch up…

– We went to Olive Garden last night with Lew and long-time reader Jeanie. I know I would hear about it if I didn’t mention it but yesterday I needed to throw in the Hawkins post. We had a good time, good food, good wine, good conversation. Maybe they should come to San Diego from Seattle every weekend!

– I watched my Seahawks get slapped around by the Packers with my cousin, who came over to hang out for the night. How you blow a 14-point early lead is beyond me but I gotta give it to the Packers; they are the veritable “shit.”
– I can’t stop laughing at this shark video.

– I watched my daughter play her second basketball game and I’ve determined that I like to watch her play and when she’s not in, it’s like Clockwork Orange when they pinned that guy’s eyes open.

– We watched Balls of Fury last night and as long as you remove your brain during the opening credits, you could possibly get a few laughs out of it, especially if you like the crew over at Reno 911.
Free Advice for Today: “Conduct family fire drills. Be sure everyone knows what to do in case the house catches fire.”
