How Did I Get Here?

I spoke too soon.

Now I thought that if you were sick, then you lived through it and then you build up some kind of immunity. That’s the way it’s supposed to work, right?

Then why, after 4 days of feeling “on the mend” do I wake up this morning feeling like I fell through a meat grinder at some point during the night?

Someone answer me that!

It’s all back. The sinus stuffed with spun glass. The sore throat. The lethargy.

I so feel like the weakest link.
