This
race was yet another vendetta for me. I had done so horribly
last year in this race due to a variety of reasons, the least
of which including me moving across the country with my family
and arriving a mere 4 days before that race. But it was my own
fault and I accepted that it was one of those races which make
the good ones good.
So
this year I wanted to make up for that criminally bad race and
salvage some semblance of self-respect. I trained for months
and even bumped up one of my last long training runs to a full
26.2 miles.
Here
are the stories of the fruit of these labors.
